StormwaterPA
Flooding, erosion, polluted waterways, economic loss: communities all across Pennsylvania are affected by stormwater runoff, but each must consider its own unique mix of local factors to put solutions in place.
StormwaterPA was developed to help municipalities throughout Pennsylvania apply the most effective, proven techniques in stormwater management to their community’s needs. Through its interactive website, social media tools, and digital video case studies, StormwaterPA provides the tools to transform stormwater runoff problems from unwanted nuisance into beneficial resource.
StormwaterPA has been evolving ever since the PA DEP released its PA Stormwater BMP Manual in 2006 and continues to expand to meet the demand for information on how we can be better stewards of our water resources by taking appropriate measures on land. 2010 will see new case studies, educational resources, and management tools.
